Location: Florida (Multiple Locations)

Position Summary:
The Director of Labor and Delivery is responsible for leading all nursing operations within the L&D department ensuring high standards of maternal-child health safety and patient experience. This role will drive operational efficiency clinical outcomes and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations staffing and patient throughput within the Labor & Delivery unit
Lead and execute quality improvement initiatives to enhance maternal and fetal outcomes
Collaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians anesthesia and interdisciplinary care teams
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards patient safety protocols and hospital policy
Develop and manage departmental budgets staffing matrices and performance objectives
Qualifications:
Active RN license in Florida or eligible Compact state
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in Labor & Delivery or Womens Services
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
No employment gaps exceeding 1 year
Clean nursing license history (no disciplinary actions)
