Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a self-contained special education program serving elementary students with low-incidence and profound disabilities. About the Role:
In this role you will conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify individual student needs and determine effective intervention strategies. Youll develop implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that include measurable communication goals tailored to each learner. Therapy will be delivered through individual and small-group sessions focused on expressive and receptive language articulation fluency and pragmatic communication skills.
Collaboration is central to this positionyoull work closely with teachers paraprofessionals occupational and physical therapists and other related service providers to ensure consistent effective communication support across all settings. Youll also provide training and guidance to staff on using AAC devices visual supports and other communication systems to enhance classroom engagement.
Additionally youll maintain detailed documentation collect and analyze data and ensure compliance with district and state requirements. Active participation in IEP meetings multidisciplinary team discussions and ongoing professional development will help you stay current with evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Strong communication collaboration and organizational skills.
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement or eligibility.
- Experience with students who have multiple or profound disabilities is preferred.
