Location: New York NY
Type: Contract
Shift: Day Shift 7:30 AM 8:00 PM
Pay Rate: $80 $82 per hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Pediatric ICU (Nurse Preceptor)for an exciting job in New York NY.
Responsibilities
Serve as a Nurse Preceptor mentoring and coaching new PICU nurses.
Reinforce clinical best practices and promote evidence-based care.
Ensure patient safety and quality outcomes through oversight and guidance.
Precept up to two nurses simultaneously during orientation periods.
Partner with the Nurse Educator to monitor progress and achieve training milestones.
Qualifications
Required:
Active New York State RN license.
Minimum 5 years of recent PICU experience in an acute care environment.
Demonstrated experience mentoring or precepting fellow nurses.
Preferred:
BSN or higher in Nursing.
Prior experience as a Nurse Preceptor or Clinical Educator.
