The Compliance Operations Leader will serve as a key advisor to the Chief Compliance Officer for the Wind and Electrification Software segments. This role will collaborate across business and corporate stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of GE Vernovas compliance program code of conduct lead risk mitigation and drive operational excellence. This role will ensure that the segment Compliance team gets the required visibility into program metrics findings reporting and data to inform the risks in the businesses. It will act as a liaison with the Program Trade and Investigations Pillars at Corporate providing business inputs that inform functional priorities and strategic initiatives deployed across the enterprise. This role requires a strong ability to create compelling communication materials excellent data analysis and visualization skills and the capability to manage a large group of stakeholders across the organization. Additionally the role will support the Compliance Officer in functional imperatives like compliance reviews risk assessments monthly operating reviews and other strategic advisory initiatives. The work completed in this role will provide a better understanding of strategic compliance risks both compliance and operational processes and policy needs that will mitigate future risks.

Job Description

Compliance Program:

  • Lead the risk assessment process to identify and summarize risks and develop action plans to mitigate them.

  • Participate in and support ancillary risk assessment processes led by Internal Audit SoX Cyber etc.

  • Act as business compliance focal for internal audit.

  • Manage business policies and procedures framework to ensure policies are regularly updated maintained on accessible platforms and communicated timely to stakeholders and employees.

  • Oversee third-party risk management utilizing the due diligence recommendations provided by the corporate program team and supporting risk-based decision-making for the parties utilized by the business

  • Support the Compliance Officer to lead the improvement of processes and controls and ensure that the business implements and abides by the compliance program.Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as process mapping control design RACI models and operating procedures to advance program maturity.

Operating rhythms and Communications:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality materials in relevant formats like power points/emails for various operating rhythms like Compliance reviews stakeholder updates and employee communications.

  • Support the compliance officer and team in establishing and coordinating functional rhythms and creates mechanisms to effectively manage and track outcomes and actions.

Data Management and Analysis:

  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze compliance data identify trends and generate reports.

  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities incidents and training completions.

  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to present data insights effectively.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Drive seamless collaboration and coordination with the Corporate Program Trade and Investigations pillar by establishing a cadence to manage a two-way communication on program and risk inputs updates data reports monitoring observations training needs etc.

  • Collaborate with team members and functional/regional leaders to ensure alignment with ethics and compliance goals.

Project Management:

  • Manage new projects or functional initiatives ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with 10 years of experience in Ethics Compliance Operations

  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders building trust and alignment across functions and levels while navigating ambiguity and competing priorities.

  • Excellent organization and project management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple matters set priorities and drive tasks and projects to conclusion with a bias for structure clarity and delivery.

  • Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills including ability to simplify complex messages articulate effectively with senior business stakeholders

  • Proficiency in creating visually engaging logically structured PowerPoint presentations that tell a clear story and influence decisions

  • Skilled in Excel and data analysis comfortable with large complex datasets and skilled at building formulas pivot tables lookups conditional logic and charts for executive-ready outputs. Experience in data analytics/visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau a plus

  • Strong perseverance to be a change agent with the business.

  • Ability to influence broad spectrum of stakeholders drive accountability and outcomes

  • Pragmatic action oriented and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.

  • Deep domain knowledge in key compliance risk areas (e.g. the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act turnkey projects third parties contractor management)

  • Strong understanding of core compliance program elements such as risk assessment policy management training investigations helpline case management due diligence and monitoring/testing.

  • Sound judgment clear thinker business sense and discretion in handling sensitive information.

  • Ability to create an environment of continuous learning and to change the way the compliance is working to be simpler strategic and more adaptive.

The salary range for this position is $150100 to $25000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience their education and the work location. In addition this position is eligible for a 15% performance bonus.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
