Position Overview:
The Vice President of Emergency Services provides strategic and operational leadership for emergency and trauma service lines across multiple hospital locations. This role oversees system-level performance quality improvement regulatory readiness and interdisciplinary alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies for emergency services across designated facilities.
- Ensure high standards for patient safety quality outcomes and operational efficiency including ED throughput optimization.
- Oversee budget development cost control measures and department staffing models.
- Maintain full compliance with state federal and trauma accreditation standards.
- Partner with nursing physician and administrative leadership to drive system integration and performance excellence.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (Florida or Compact state required).
- Minimum 3 years of executive-level leadership in emergency and/or trauma services.
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree strongly preferred.
- No employment gaps exceeding 12 months.
