SUMMARY
Coordinatesfor planning organization and implementation of the TUSD Middle and Elementary school Interscholastic and Extracurricular programs. This position organizes publicizes and coordinates the extra-curricular opportunities across TUSD and serves as the Interscholastic middle and elementary school program liaison for administrators and a diverse group of stakeholders. The Coordinator assists with the delivery of robust quality control for middle and elementary schools extra-curricular sports and monitors the progress of all extra-curricular activities through close liaison with administrators DESEG-Extra Curricular Specialists for middle/elementary school and HS Athletic Coordinators. The Coordinator assists the Interscholastics Director with the compliance of the extra-curricular activities and serve as the liaison between all the extra-curricular activities/offerings for middle and elementary schools.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Associates Degree AND
Four years of experience administering or coordinating programs.
OR
Bachelors Degree AND
Two years of experience administering or coordinating programs.
OR
Six years of progressive experience administering or coordinating programs.
One year of supervisory experience.
Knowledge of TUSD and AIA rules and Bylaws related to Interscholastic sports is required
Knowledge and ability to use word processing database and spreadsheet programs.
Knowledge of federal and state legislative requirements related to specific program.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
Some positions within this classification may require some type of certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters Degree.

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

FTE :1.0 -8 hours per day
Work Calendar:12 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
