Job Description:

Join Microchips FPGA software engineering team to develop and optimize EDA tools that power the entire FPGA design flowfrom design entry to synthesis place-and-route timing power analysis and simulation. As an EDA Software Engineer youll work in an agile environment collaborating with experts to enhance the performance and quality of our FPGA design tools.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS MS or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 02 years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficient in C/C with strong programming algorithm and data structure skills.
  • Must know Verilog/System Verilog/VHDL. Must be capable of writing test cases and test benches
  • Excellent problem-solving debugging communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with EDA tools (e.g. logic synthesis formal verification).
  • Strong digital design knowledge and FPGA experience.
  • Familiarity with Git and scripting languages (Perl Python Bash Tcl).
  • Experience with large-scale software development on Linux and Windows.
