Position Description - Registered Behavior Technician/ABA TUTOR
Position Goal:
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will support children in achieving individual academic social and behavior goals. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with special needs
- Training in the area of ABA
- Willing to get RBT certification within one to two years of hire
- Strong communication skills
Performance Responsibilities:
- Follows and implements establishedbehaviorplans for students
- Model and provide classroom support in use ofABAstrategies discrete trials and data collection
- Assists with thebehavioral and curriculum interventions developed by the BCBA
- Under the direction of the BCBA prepares and selects the necessaryinstructional materials needed forABAservices
- Remains knowledgeable and able to implement and train the basic principles ofABA
Reports to:
School Principal and the Administrator for Student Services
Terms of Employment:
Per contract
Evaluation:
Evaluated annually by an administrator
