| Job Summary: |
This position will work under the direction of the Deputy Associate Superintendent to create program structures that align to program requirements and other agency initiatives while supervising staff for the implementation and evaluation of the Title IV-B program.
Occasional in-state and rare our-of-state travel is required for this position.
| Job Duties: |
Supervise staff that provide oversight to school efforts in implementing 21st CCLC programs
Provide vision leadership and direction regarding a system of technical Assistance directly to staff who support grantees
Collaborate with other ADE Divisions and Sections involved in providing support to schools
Work with DAS and ADE Communications Finance and Grants Management to ensure that site allocations and admin set aside are appropriate for the grant award amount
Supervise the facilitation of maintaining and/or increasing feedback from external stakeholder groups; including but not limited to LEA/Community Partner driven Vision Teams community advocacy groups state and national stakeholders as they relate to 21CCLC or similar out-of-school educational opportunities
Coordinate and lead the development of differentiated technical assistance and effectiveness of program coaching for ongoing grantees and applicants
Supervise the creation and maintenance of program policies and procedures both internally and externally for the comprehensive evaluation process application process and corrective action planning for the effectiveness of the 21st CCLC programs on a statewide level
Engage in aligned and applicable outreach activities with parents families and communities including public event training attendance and participation in agency conferences and constituent events
Ensure the provision of effective and positive customer service and support with external and internal constituents
Coordinate and participate in aligned and coordinated monitoring of federal programs with other agency program groups

Methods and procedures used in curriculum development in after school education
Principles practices and trends in education especially as it relates to Best Practices in the afterschool setting
Statutory provisions covering federal grant programs
Progressively responsible oversight of multi-million dollar federal funding
Grant management and budget
Applicants must have taught or administered a 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant or another after school program.
A bachelors degree in education social work recreation or related field or equivalent experience to substitute for the degree is required.
Applicants must have supervisory experience.
