What this job involves:

As a Technician at JLL youll be at the heart of keeping our clients facilities running smoothly and efficiently. We embrace more innovative ways of working and youll apply cutting-edge maintenance techniques and technologies to ensure optimal building performance. Working within our culture of collaboration youll partner with engineering teams property managers and vendors to deliver exceptional service that shapes a brighter way for our clients. Youll troubleshoot complex systems perform preventive maintenance and respond to service requests with the innovative spirit that sets JLL apart in the industry.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC electrical plumbing and mechanical systems Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and document findings in computerized maintenance management systems Respond promptly to tenant service requests and emergency calls Collaborate with engineering teams and external contractors to resolve complex technical issues Monitor building automation systems and adjust controls to optimize energy efficiency Maintain accurate maintenance logs and ensure compliance with safety regulations Support sustainability initiatives and implement energy-saving measures

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent with technical training in building maintenance or related field 2 years of experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management Working knowledge of HVAC systems electrical systems and basic plumbing Ability to read and interpret technical drawings schematics and maintenance manuals Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude Valid drivers license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree in mechanical electrical or facilities management technology Industry certifications (EPA Section 608 OSHA 10 electrical license) Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and energy management Knowledge of preventive maintenance software and work order systems LEED or other sustainability certification Bilingual capabilities to support diverse tenant populations
