Job Summary
Position Summary
The Philpot laboratory develops therapeutics for single gene disorders. We are seeking a research technician to perform research tasks in the lab as well as help with lab management duties. Research tasks will include performing mouse behavioral experiments mouse colony organization and breeding histological assays (e.g. immunocytochemistry) confocal microscopy tissue collections and processing (dissections sectioning etc.) and data analysis. This position will require animal handling.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
-Rodent handling abilities -basic understanding of neuroscience
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
-Prior laboratory experience in a related field -Rodent behavior -Microscopy -Immunohistochemistry -Genotyping -Strong communication and organization skills

Monday Friday; 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
