About The Internship Program:
We are looking to hire an intern for our 10-week summer internship program which will run from June to August in our Stamford CT office. Intern will assist in identifying analyzing evaluating and presenting potential financing and investment opportunities for the firm. The program will create and reinforce skills in financial analysis risk management and business development within the commodities sector.

The Intern will contribute to the Groups overall sustainability program including trading due diligence operations data collection and systems architecture development identify and pursue value creation opportunities and interface with MML colleagues to support the implementation of the mine sites Sustainability program.

What we are looking for:

Applicants must be in their junior or senior year at a 4-year accredited college or university.

Must be able to work in our Stamford CT office 5 days a week.

Strong interest in commodities

Major in Engineering Environmental Management Geology Mining Engineering Biology Chemistry or related field preferred.

Excellent analytical skills attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Excellent problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication

Self-starter able to work independently or in a team environment

Strong proficiency in MS Office applications with advanced Excel skills in modeling and financial valuation

Highly proactive attitude

Ability to work 40 hours/week in our Stamford CT office


What The Intern Will Do:

Contribute to the development of the firms ESG data systems and workflows.

Work to identify and implement innovative solutions to address identified ESG risks.

Assist the ESG team with the preparation of key ESG reports as well as materials to support responses for the various ESG inquiries.

Assist with the preparation of key ESG materials for communication with institutional investors banking partners and other financial stakeholders and in preparation of key materials for internal communication.

Special projects and other administrative functions as required.
