Responsibilities:
Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment programs based on patient needs and goals.
Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist and care team.
Provide education and support to patients and families regarding therapeutic activities and home programs.
Ensure a safe positive and motivating environment for all patients.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and documentation standards.
Qualifications:
Current California Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license.
Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current CPR certification (preferred).
Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Prior experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.
