Senior Government Compliance Finance Manager
The Senior Government Compliance Finance Manager provides Government Compliance and financial guidance to the Qualified sites located within Honeywell Aerospace. This position is an excellent opportunity for growth in a government-oriented business. This individual will become a subject matter expert through experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and other government agency supplemental regulations. Position can sit in in Clearwater FL or Phoenix AZ. No relocation is available for this role.

Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities and Related Tasks:
Support and lead Aero organizations as required as the subject matter expert for matters relating to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) FAR Supplements USG contracts and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) as applied to government accounting requirements
Proactively partner with business and functional leaders to facilitate business success through solutions while balancing compliance requirements by leading the Government Compliance Change Review Board and Disclosure Statement MOS.
Support assigned Aero/Corporate transformation activities (GS&I ISC Engineering etc.) with focus on continued compliance to government contract requirements
Relationships and interaction with HON Team Leaders and their Senior Management in DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) and DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency).
Drive an MOS that ensures business level contract compliance with critical and specific FAR and DFAR requirements including but not limited business systems (Accounting Estimating Purchasing MMAS EVMS Govt Property) and specific contract clauses associated with Quality Cyber Security Counterfeit Parts Commercial Item Justification etc.
Drive process automation and built-in contract compliance Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesQualifications
MINIMUM:
Five plus years of accounting/financial analysis experience.
This position requires access to technology materials software or hardware that is controlled by US export order to be eligible for this position you must be a US Person under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
PREFERRED:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
Strong SAP experience.
Strong personal computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Experience with FAR CAS and U.S. Government Compliance is desired.
Excellent communication skills written and oral.
CPA and/or Government Contract Accounting considered a plus.
Strong financial and business analytical and problem-solving skills.
Independent self-starter with a strong work ethic high degree of motivation and the ability to contribute to a positive team attitude.
Strong bias for action; results oriented with an ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and team across organizational or functional boundaries.
Six Sigma certified or trained preferred.
