The Manager of Performance & Planning is Cat Daddys primary steward of financial health and operational excellence. Sitting at the crossroads of strategy finance and studio operations you will be the primary stakeholder in the P&L guide budgeting and forecasting and help build highimpact investment decisions that accelerate growth while safeguarding profitability. You are equally comfortable in the weeds of a spreadsheet and in executive meetings articulating a vision for sustainable scale.
This is an in-person role based in Kirkland WA.
Lead studio annual budgeting quarterly reforecasts and realtime variance analysis to ensure the studio meets or exceeds plan
Systems and service oversight related to project allocation and reporting
Serve as the internal finance partner to production liveops marketing and central tech teams translating financial insights into actionable plans
Solve urgent business questions: player lifetime value (LT pricing scenarios costbenefit tradeoffs providing clear databacked recommendations
Educate nonfinance partners build tools & dashboards and cultivate a culture of financial ownership across the studio
Act as Cat Daddys finance ambassador to 2K and Take Two; ensure flawless consolidation reporting accuracy and alignment of strategic objectives
Evaluate and manage major spend requests and perform return on investment analyses on key projects events and initiatives
Evaluate new growth opportunities (game features platform expansion partnerships) for strategic fit and financial viability
Set forecast and track studiowide targets; facilitate alignment sessions to drive accountability against targets
8 years of progressive experience in FP&A strategic finance or business operations ideally within gaming technology or entertainment
Proven ownership of a full P&L (>$50 M) and expertise in budgeting forecasting and financial modeling
Strong analytical toolkit: Excel/Google Sheets wizardry experience with BI platforms (Looker Tableau PowerBI) and SQL familiarity
Shown ability to influence senior leaders and crossfunctional teams through clear communication and financial data storytelling
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Finance Business Economics or a quantitative field
MBA or relevant advanced degree.
Experience in freetoplay mobile games or liveservice content businesses is a plus!
Comfortable navigating publisher/developer relationships and distributed studio structures.

The pay range for this position in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $123200 and $182360 per Year. However base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates such as job-related knowledge skills experience and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
