Job Summary

Northern Gateway Public Schools invites applications for 2 Full-time (1.0 FTE) Education Assistants at Percy Baxter School Whitecourt Alberta.

Successful candidate responsibilities:

Provide support to students in an inclusive setting
Follow the direction of the classroom Teacher

Preference will be given to candidates who:

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with children parents and staff
Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teachers and other educational assistants in the classroom/school
Understand and carry out oral and written direction
Work independently with minimal instruction
Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills
Respect confidentiality
Practice professionalism with all PBS School students staff administration parents and public
Are aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures
Have an understanding of the teaching/learning process
Have strong interpersonal skills and patience
Enjoys working in a team environment

ASAP

Hours:

30 hours per week5 days/6 hours per day

Wage Rate:

$20.44/hour - $29.65/hour depending on qualifications and experience
