ACADEMIC FACULTY APPOINTMENT: The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine
The Senior/Lecturer Medical Education will work on the development delivery and evaluation of the Years 1-2 curriculum of the NTU MBBS. The post holder will work in collaboration with Assistant Dean Years 1-2 Vice-Dean Education as well as the wider MBBS teams.
It is expected that this job will comprise a mix of education-related activities including but not limited to: face-to-face teaching curriculum and related assessment development and review and curriculum quality assurance.
The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine has offered the independent NTU MBBS degree since AY2024-25. The NTU MBBS will keep the best of the Imperial College London (Imperial)-NTU degree and at the same time introduce enhancements to align with changes in healthcare and healthcare education nationally and globally.
LKCMedicine is seeking a Senior/Lecturer Medical Education to support the delivery and continued renewal of the Years 1-2 curriculum in addition to other potential activities including but not limited to student support administrative contributions and medical education scholarship.
Primary Responsibilities/Activities
Curriculum Delivery and Review
- Working as part of a team to ensure smooth delivery of the NTU MBBS curriculum in Years 1-2
- Oversee collaboration with module or vertical theme leads to:(A) Review learning outcomes and learning activities in the MBBS curriculum for Years 1-2; (B) Review learning and assessment materials/resources for students and faculty
- Support module leads and content experts where necessary
- Contribute to teaching as a content expert
The level of effort for this appointment is at 1.0 full time equivalent (FTE) employment.
