Hourly rate starting: $34.78 (plus Super plus NFP Salary Packaging)

genU is looking for Support Workers who can team up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement.

There are multiple review the roster included before applying for one.

1. Proposed Roster - 27hrs-AM&PM

2. Proposed Roster - 54hrs AM Shifts

3. Proposed Roster - 67hrs PM Shifts

What youll do

Support person-centred plans that identify a customers life goals and working to achieve them;
Support customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation housekeeping showering and toileting and medication administration;
Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
Administration duties and mandatory reporting

What youll bring

Experience in supporting customers with behavioural support plans;
Experience working with challenging behaviours- essential;
An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities;
Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity;
Cert III in Disability Individual Support or higher (or working towards one) is essential;
A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate).
