Position Description for Dillingham City School District Dillingham Alaska
The Dillingham City School District Board of Education of Dillingham Alaska is seeking a highly qualified Superintendent to lead the district and support its mission of ensuring success for all students.
McPherson & Jacobson L.L.C. Executive Recruitment and Development are engaged as consultants in a search for outstanding candidates. They will assist the School Board in identifying and screening the candidates.
Enrollment: 450 students
Location: Dillingham Alaska
Salary: $140000 commensurate with experience and qualifications

A person with the ability to garner loyalty so that staff will want to stay for longer periods of time.
A leader who can see and communicate the Big Picture and partner with the community staff students and the Board to develop a 5-year plan.
A leader with excellent communication skills; transparent approachable and honest.
A true member of the community who is highly visibly engaged within the school and community activities.
A person who is comfortable with constructive criticism willing to work with a wide range of perspectives and can work in a rural community.
A leader who has the skills to work with strong-willed individuals build strong relationships and leadership teams.
An educator with proven success at improving student achievement and a strong knowledge of teaching and learning.
