Job Summary

Essential Functions
The Associate Directors essential function is to serve as the Presidents designee under PA Code Chapter 505- Student Disciplinary Due Process Requirements and implement the Universitys rules of procedure for student due process. The Associate Director will also use effective interpersonal oral and written communication skills while working with students and employees. The Associate Director must effectively prioritize work with attention to detail and follow through in a fast-paced environment. Sitting 80%; Walking 10%; Standing 10%; Squatting 3% Bending 3% Working indoors 95% and Outdoors (for errands) 5% Frequent lifting of objects weighing less than 5 pounds Occasional lifting of objects weighing 25 pounds or greater Occasional pushing/pulling objects weighing 25 pounds or greater Frequent reaching for objects at above and below shoulder Frequent twisting at waist and stretching to reach objects Occasional fine manipulation with hands Frequent simple grasping; occasional power grasping Basic math skills (add subtract multiply divide) Reading skills including understanding written direction. Writing skills in preparing and organizing documents Sensory skills i.e. visual hearing and speaking Keyboard skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience serving on hearing boards Experience with policy creation and implementation Experience with creating and implementing trainings outreach campaigns or workshops Experience with working collaboratively with Police Residence Life Alcohol and Other Drug offices Athletics or other related offices Experience working with Title IX Experience with conflict resolution and mediation Experience with database management
