About the Role

Step into a central role within Enterprise Technology & Platforms where youll help keep our business operations running smoothly and ensure our people systems and processes are set up for success.

This 13-month parental leave cover commencing in January 2026 focuses primarily on managing the rostering and timecard function for the Enterprise Technology & Platforms team a key department within the ABCs Product and Technology Division.

Youll primarily be responsible for creating and issuing fortnightly rosters within People Hub Workforce (UKG Kronos) for 120 employees. On a daily basis you will review and update associated timecards ensuring compliance with the ABC Enterprise Agreement and the applicable penalties and allowances. Youll provide training and support on the system as well as reporting and analysis. You will also work with a small team to provide broader business operations support from diary and meeting coordination to preparing PowerPoint presentations and creating and maintaining SharePoint resources.

This is a varied and hands-on role where your systems knowledge organisation and collaborative approach will help keep the department operating efficiently and effectively.

About You

Youre a proactive and detail-oriented team player who enjoys keeping things running smoothly and supporting others to do their best work. Youre adaptable collaborative and bring a positive energy that makes you great to work with.

Youll bring:

  • Experience using UKG Kronos (or similar) to manage complex rosters in a large or unionised organisation covered by an enterprise agreement.
  • The ability to interpret and apply modern awards enterprise agreements and relevant penalty rates.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including preparing PowerPoint decks diary management and SharePoint experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence to train others and liaise effectively across teams.
  • High attention to detail flexibility and the ability to manage competing priorities.
