ROLE SUMMARY
PADCEV () is an agent for the treatment of metastatic urothelial cancer. The product was initially launched in 2019 and received full approval for front-line treatment of la/mUC in December 2023. PADCEV in combination with pembrolizumab has demonstrated significant efficacy relative to platinum-based therapy and is now recognized as the next standard of care in front-line la/mUC. PADCEV is a high priority brand within the Pfizer Oncology portfolio and is a key growth driver for the organization. With an indication expansion into muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) expected during this Secondment it is a very exciting time to join the brand.
What You Will Achieve
This secondment is to provide an excellent opportunity for a high potential colleague on a key Oncology brand while the Consumer/AHP Marketing Director is on maternity leave. The timing is designed to overlap for the first and last month of leave to ensure smooth transitions. This role is responsible for the creation execution and deployment of all strategies related to consumer and AHP (allied health professionals for example nurses NP/PAs and pharmacists) audiences. As PADCEV is co-commercialized with Astellas in the United States the role will work closely with their counterparts at Astellas to ensure joint alignment on strategy budget and execution plans.
Due to the alliance and colleagues around the country candidates must be flexible with working hours to accommodate ET CT and PT time zones. Strong communication actively contributing to a positive team culture working through ambiguity
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Patient & AHP strategy and related promotional planning and execution for the PADCEV brand including preparation for the new indication launch in muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) and continued drive of performance in the front line locally advanced/metastatic urothelial carcinoma (la/mUC).
Lead omnichannel Consumer engagement strategy and execution to drive product awareness and activation including social media digital and personal promotion.
Partner with Advocacy to develop and deploy bladder cancer awareness initiatives; lead Patient Ambassador initiatives.
Lead Media agency to define the AHP strategy and tactical execution for Search and Display; in addition identifying opportunities for field force tactics to improve patient education experience and address AE management questions or concerns.
Accountable for Consumer & AHP agency budget to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope in conjunction with Alliance partner(s).
Collaborate closely with marketing team colleagues and cross functional team members including Global Marketing Patient Advocacy Team Corporate Comms MLR Market Research Analytics
Collaborate closely with all Astellas counterpart to ensure alignment on strategy budget and execution plans
Qualifications
Must-Have
BA/BS degree required
8-10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience including 5 years of US marketing or marketing-adjacent experience required
Oncology experience strongly preferred
Agency or vendor management experience including budget management required
Prior experience in consumer marketing preferred
Track record of innovation leadership and significant contribution to the growth of brands
Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs extract key insights and translate these into meaningful strategies and in market results
Strong business acumen including demonstrated strategic marketing and analytical thinking skills
Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver results on multiple complex competing projects in a deadline-oriented environment

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical ability to travel conduct in-office tasks such as computer work and hosting calls.

20% travel will be required - including relevant meetings with Alliance partners POA meetings Advocacy meetings Congresses (if needed)

Work Location Assignment: Must be able to work from the assigned Pfizer office 2-3 days per week or as needed by the business.
