This is a hybrid position; 2 days in office and 3 days remote.
Office is located in Kennesaw GA.

Job Description Summary: The Accounting Analyst will support the business objectives based on the Controller organizations scope of responsibility. The major areas of responsibility will include: financial accounting and reporting including month-end close processes; general ledger account analyses; preparation and posting of journal entries; research analyses and reporting; internal reporting requests related to Division Regional branches and Corporate; fulfilling requests related to internal/external audit and other ad hoc analyses and special projects.

Month-end procedures including the preparation and posting of journal entries including:
- General Accounting / Accruals as noted below
- Inventory / Stock (Mass Balance)
- Product Costing
Daily Cash Reconciliation (DCR) process
Perform tasks ensuring accurate financial and statistical close processes in conjunction with ALABS including general ledger account reconciliations and other analyses within established timelines. Direct responsibility will include:
- Significant sales accruals that are not based on a standard report/calculation.
- Significant COS & OPEX accruals that are not based on a standard report/calculation.
- Localized accounting topics including but not limited to real estate taxes and personal property taxes.
- Ad-hoc entries arising from the month end close review process
Contribute to the product costing process including:
- Calculate maintain and update standard gas and hard-goods costs as required.
- Preparation of daily Moving Average Price (MAP) analysis.
- Cost of sales account analysis research and preparation of account reconciliations.
- Creation of bulk and subcontract blanket purchase orders.
Preparation of reports and other information related to internal requests from the division/branches as well as Corporate.
Ensures compliance with the Companys financial policies/procedures and other matters related to compliance.

Are you a MATCH

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.
At least two years prior accounting/finance experience.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of general accounting matters and IFRS/GAAP.
Intermediate computer skills (Google Suite Microsoft Excel) experience with SAP and/or ERP systems a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Industrial gas or manufacturing experience is a plus.
