About the Role:

The Senior Engineering Execution Lead will lead a cross-functional team dedicated to enhancing software engineering efficiency across the organization. Your mission is to define and execute the strategy for reusable tools standardized practices common infrastructure and run/operations that support multiple product teams and projects. This is a senior specialist role with process leadership responsibilities ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating teams and improving processes even without formal people management duties.

You will play a pivotal role in streamlining development processes enforcing engineering standards and ensuring compliance and scalability through centralized solutions such as internal libraries CI/CD pipelines DevOps tooling and security frameworks. By fostering collaboration between product teams and centralized departments (e.g. Security Cloud Compliance) you will enable consistent high-quality software delivery while empowering development teams to focus on business value.

Your role would be to coordinate operations and projects efforts across teams monitors progress removes roadblocks and ensures that deliverables are completed on time within scope and to expected quality standards. This is a cross-functional delivery role requiring software engineering experience as well as strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on execution excellence accountability and results.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the vision for shared tools infrastructure and software development standards across the organization.

• Align centralized initiatives with business and technology goals to maximize impact and reuse.

• Hands on approach to understand where the areas of issues are and where tactical and statical changes should be focused.

• Drive automation scalability and reliability across build test and deployment processes.

• Establish and enforce engineering best practices coding standards and compliance requirements.

• Collaborate with security and IT teams to integrate security-by-design principles and maintain governance.

• Measure the impact of tooling and process improvements using KPIs such as build speed release frequency and reliability.

• Identify gaps reduce duplication and promote innovation in shared infrastructure and developer experience.

• Lead the execution of initiatives ensuring clear goals timelines and ownership.

• Coordinate efforts across teams and departments to align activities and dependencies.

• Track project milestones proactively identify and mitigate risks and ensure on-time delivery of key outcomes with full ownership of budget management and benefits tracking.

• Coordinate with resource managers to align team member allocations based on project needs and timelines.

• Strong stakeholder management ensuring clear consistent communication with senior leadership team members and key stakeholders.

• Promote a culture of accountability learning and continuous delivery.

• Facilitate relevant agile processes e.g. retrospectives or post-mortems to capture lessons learned and refine execution practices.

Required skills & Qualifications :

• Experience working within software development environments understanding of software engineering principles lifecycle stages and collaboration with technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Proven track record in defining and leading technical strategy for shared platforms tools or infrastructure.

• Expertise in cloud technologies infrastructure as code container orchestration and software security

• Experience in project or program management operations or business delivery roles with the ability to manage risk time and budget effectively.

• Proven ability to manage complex initiatives across multiple teams or departments.

• Excellent organizational communication and leadership skills.

• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.

• Experience in a fast-paced agile or technology-driven environment.

• Familiarity with delivery frameworks such as Agile Scrum Prince2 IPMA or Lean.

• Change management or process improvement understanding.

• Engaged and solution-oriented with a practical approach to identifying issues early and resolving them efficiently

• Great analytical skills with the ability to assess problems implement effective mitigations and uphold quality assurance standards
