We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Motor Vehicle Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching learning and assessment across a range of programmesfrom Level 1 to Level 3 apprenticeships and adult learning. This exciting role combines hands-on workshop teaching with engaging classroom theory providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
What Youll Do:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in diagnostics maintenance and repair.
- Teach and assess across full-time part-time and apprenticeship routes.
- Support learners to achieve their goals and progress into employment or further education.
- Promote health and safety industry relevance and inclusive learning.
- Liaise with employers contribute to curriculum development and participate in quality assurance.

Is This You
Relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Motor Vehicle Maintenance/Engineering or related discipline.
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE Cert Ed or willingness to work towards one).
Recent experience in the automotive industry or teaching in a motor vehicle environment.
Up-to-date knowledge of modern vehicle technologies and diagnostic procedures.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Strong communication organisation and interpersonal skills
Commitment to supporting learners from diverse backgrounds
Effective organisational skills (self and workload) extensive knowledge of own subject area
(in addition to teaching ability) effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with software needed in role Experience of working with people in a learning environment
Desirable:
Assessor and/or IQA qualifications (TAQA A1 V1).
Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle technology.
Previous experience delivering apprenticeship programmes or liaising with employers.
Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
