Job Summary

Minimum of 5 Years of experience.

Azure Expertise: Proficient understanding of Azure services particularly those related to Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
Virtualization Skills: Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware and hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD/VDI) for deployment configuration management and support.
Networking Knowledge: Understanding of networking principles and how they apply to virtual desktop environments. Specific knowledge of ports and applications required for traversing agency firewall configurations.
Windows Server: Familiarity with Windows Server operating systems and their integration with Azure.
Application Server: Familiarity with SCCM / OSD and Intune / AutoPilot for systems Management and provisioning.
Security Understanding: Knowledge of security measures and best practices for securing virtual desktop environments.
Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to virtual desktop performance and connectivity.
Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools to streamline administrative tasks.
Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills as the role often involves working with other IT professionals and departments.
Continuous Learning: Given the evolving nature of technology a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest Azure and VDI advancements.
