Responsibilities
File Transfer Contact and Escalation Management
- Build update and maintain contact and escalation details for all client jobs that send files.
- Build update and maintain contact and escalation details for all custodian jobs that retrieve files.
Job Monitoring and Performance Management
- Identify monitor and resolve any job running beyond 1 standard deviation from its average runtime in both Production and Test environments.
- Identify monitor resolve and escalate failed jobs that are not related to File Transfer issues.
- Identify monitor resolve and escalate long-running DLC reports.
User and Report Management
- Renew user access for clients including resolving DLC report errors.
- Ensure that all annually scheduled file push jobs execute correctly and as per schedule.
Client-Side File Transfer Operations
- Maintain clear identification of client-side file push jobs within batch processes.
- Enhance client-side file pull processes:
- Send a warning email if the file is not found on the first attempt.
- Send an error email if the file is not found after X retry attempts.
- Improve client-side SFTP push processes:
- In case of push failure allow re-execution of the Push only (Data Delivery FTP Issues).
L2 / L3 Support (Development and Enhancement)
- Provide user education implement controls and drive process improvements for frequently occurring job failures.
- Customize existing batch site parameters and migrate processes to .NET where applicable.
- Ensure Archer employees can view credentials and access within flow documentation.
- Generate and maintain SFTP error reporting mechanisms.
- Validate SFTP scripts and authorization configurations.
- Update logic scripts that auto-fill help text (e.g. replace placeholder text like Expect with accurate contextual information).
- Enable the Archer team and integration users to self-service file transfer issues through improved tools and automation.
