The State of South Carolina is looking for a SAP Junior Technical Support Engineer. Why is this position open: This is a newly established position created to augment existing staff who support daily operations while also addressing the growing need for dedicated expertise in the agency s HR systems. The SAP HR Systems Technician will play a critical role in configuring maintaining and enhancing the South Carolina Department of Public Health s Human Resources systems primarily within the SCEIS SAP ECC platform as well as other HR-related systems. This position is essential for implementing system configuration changes optimizing business workflows improving data quality and supporting complex reporting needs by aligning technical capabilities with evolving business requirements. Max Bill Rate: $100/hour Will close to submissions on 11/7 at 5:00PM EST. Interview Process: 1 round virtual (video required) Duration of the Contract: 12 months Possibility for Extension: Yes Work Location: Role is hybrid (4 days onsite per week) Candidate location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense.
