Job Summary
Position Summary:
The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a reach truck to move stack and organize materials within the warehouse. This role supports daily operations by ensuring that products are accurately stored retrieved and prepared for shipment while maintaining safety and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a reach truck to move load and unload pallets and materials in high racking systems.
Transport and stage products for shipping receiving and production areas.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues immediately.
Follow warehouse management system (WMS) procedures to ensure inventory accuracy.
Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment.
Assist with order picking pallet wrapping and general warehouse duties as needed.
Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:
Experience: 12 years of experience operating a reach truck or similar equipment preferred.
Certification: Valid forklift/reach truck certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
Skills:
Strong commitment to safety and accuracy.
Ability to operate powered industrial trucks in narrow aisles and at elevated heights.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer or scanner skills for tracking inventory.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Comfortable working at heights and in warehouse environments that may vary in temperature.
Ability to stand or operate equipment for long periods.
Schedule and amp; Pay:
Shifts Available: 1st 2nd or 3rd Shift
Pay Range: $18.00 $19.00 per hour (based on experience and shift assignment)
