As a Locum CNM you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care ensuring a positive experience for patients. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide the best possible outcomes and contribute to the overall success of our staffing and recruiting efforts in the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive prenatal intrapartum and postpartum care
- Conduct gynecological examinations and screenings
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare providers
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Assist in labor and delivery processes as required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Stay updated on best practices in midwifery and obstetrics
Requirements
- Valid Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field
- Experience in obstetrical and gynecological care
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of current healthcare regulations and standards
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Schedule: 12 or 24-hour in-house shifts
Will serve as first call
Setting: Hospital
Delivery Volume: 2-3 per day 2400 annually
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
