Responsibilities

Project planning and design: Plan design and manage civil engineering projects from initial concept to completion.

Site assessment: Conduct site investigations analyze data from reports and tests and perform feasibility studies.

Budget and schedule management: Develop and manage project budgets and timelines and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.

Coordination and communication: Liaise with architects contractors and other engineers; present project proposals; and answer technical questions.

Compliance and safety: Ensure all projects comply with safety standards environmental regulations and building codes.

Quality assurance: Monitor on-site construction activities inspect work and verify that specifications are met.

Documentation: Prepare and present detailed project reports engineering designs and specifications.

Skills

Technical skills: Proficiency in engineering design software and a strong understanding of civil engineering principles.
