Senior Welder/Fabricator Direct Hire Opportunity

Seeking a Senior Welder/Fabricator with 510 years of experience in welding and fabrication for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Poughkeepsie NY.

This position offers full benefits including PTO Medical Dental Vision and 401(k) with company match.
Pay is between $30$40 per hour based on experience.

In this role you will perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel carbon steel and aluminum materials. You will read and interpret blueprints fit complex assemblies and ensure all welds meet internal and customer quality standards while mentoring junior welders and collaborating with engineering and quality teams.

Responsibilities:
Perform MIG/TIG welding on stainless steel carbon steel and aluminum.
Read and follow blueprints weld symbols and fabrication drawings.
Build and fit complex assemblies with minimal supervision.
Verify weld quality and ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
Support junior welders and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to achieve production goals.

Qualifications:
510 years of welding and fabrication experience required.
Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding across multiple positions.
Strong measuring layout and blueprint reading skills.
Ability to work with tight tolerances and fabrication best practices.
Familiarity with ASME/AWS code work a plus.
