Position Overview
The OR Registered Nurse plays a critical role in providing comprehensive perioperative care throughout the surgical process. This includes preparing operating rooms assisting during procedures monitoring patients conditions and ensuring compliance with safety and sterile standards.
Youll collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and other clinical professionals to deliver coordinated and efficient surgical care.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare operating rooms for scheduled procedures ensuring all required equipment and supplies are available.
Assist surgeons during procedures while maintaining sterile technique and ensuring patient safety.
Monitor and assess patients conditions before during and after surgery.
Collaborate with the surgical team to provide seamless perioperative care.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient care and surgical procedures.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Associates Degree in Nursing (Bachelors Degree preferred).
Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License.
12 years of experience in surgical perioperative or acute care nursing.
Preferred Skills
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure fast-paced environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
