Regional In-Transit Representative

Location: Saint Louis MO REMOTE 80%

Department: KHS In-Transit Representative (ITR)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Expected compensation $20.00 /Hour

KhS is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Regional In-Transit Representative (ITR) to coordinate the successful completion of vehicle claims across their assigned region. This role requires seamless collaboration with internal teams customers part suppliers technicians and vendors. Exceptional customer service is the cornerstone of the ITR Department and the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced accuracy-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately clock in/out using the Workday system during assigned shifts

  • Work within designated business hours; obtain approval for any overtime

  • Attend scheduled Teams meetings and comply with PTO procedures

  • Respond to internal and customer emails within the same business day

  • Assign process and bill claims correctly using back-office systems and Smartsheet

  • Follow internal protocols for claims part orders and technical assistance

  • Communicate with customers for part approval and claim updates

  • Refer to training manuals and escalate complex issues to supervisors

  • Use Smartsheet follow-up dates to manage extractions tows part orders and tech needs

  • Maintain accurate dealership data and notify supervisors of updates

  • Document claim progress and relevant notes in Smartsheet and back-office systems

  • Add claims to lockout sheet upon notification

  • Collect and organize invoices from suppliers and vendors for claim closure

  • Review technician photos and resolve missing documentation flags (X/XI)

  • Notify customers of claim deviations (e.g. prior damage repair delays vehicle location issues)

  • Submit Chrome River charges before monthly accounting close

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years in customer service logistics coordination or call center operations

    • Experience in hail repair automotive or insurance industries is a plus

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with CRM systems call center software or logistics tools

  • Ability to multitask and solve problems in a high-volume environment

  • Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Collaborative team-oriented mindset focused on customer satisfaction

Other Duties

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support departmental goals.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Continuous computer use for data entry and claim processing

  • Sedentary role with occasional walking and standing

  • Light lifting (up to 10 lbs)

  • Office-based with standard business hours; overtime may be required during peak hail seasons

  • High accuracy and attention to detail required in a fast-paced setting

Drug Policy

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications experience and geographic location.

The starting compensation is expected to be:

$19.00 $20.00/Hour
