Job Summary
Travel RN Med/Surg ICU
Location: Bronx NY
Type: Contract
Shift: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Schedule: 3 shifts per week (11.5-hour shifts approximately 34.5 hours/week)
Travel Pay: Up to $2594/week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel RN Med/Surg ICUfor an exciting job in Bronx NY.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive evidence-based nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg ICU setting.
Perform IV insertions phlebotomy and administer conscious sedation according to established protocols.
Continuously monitor assess and document patient conditions and progress.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with infection control safety and regulatory standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical ICU nursing experience.
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience with conscious sedation.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) from an accredited program.
Active New York State RN License.
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Strong critical thinking communication and leadership skills.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
