Emergency Prep Specialist - St. Peters Hospital - Full Time

Duties:
Education Requirements:
- A bachelors degree in Emergency Management or equivalent field
- An Associate Degree in a related field and progressive experience in the Emergency Management paradigm (law enforcement firefighting Life Safety Code Enforcement clinical healthcare)
- CEM or AEM and / or CHES certification a plus
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal state and local standards and codes (NFPA NYS DOH)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for multiple accrediting agencies (CMS Joint Commission etc.)
- Comprehensive knowledge of HICS and NIMS
- Must have completed ISand 800 and be able to obtain ICS 300 and 400 within one year
Experience Requirements:
- Five years or more of progressively responsible experience preferably in a clinical or emergency management capacity
- Direct experience with Emergency Management in a large organization
Performance Metrics:
- Hospital Preparedness Program grant deliverables
- Provision of training to colleagues in Fire / Evacuation and other as required
Pay Range:$64500 - $103188
Pay is based on experience skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
