Position Overview
As a Warehouse Temporary Trainer you will be responsible for the orientation and training of new warehouse staff when business needs require an additional trainer to maintain a 6:1 trainer to trainee ratio. During this time you will ensure employees are performing their job duties correctly in compliance with all Company policies and procedures and meet safety quality and productivity expectations. This position is a flex position for a limited time (up to approximately 6 months) and will require you to return to your previous job duties at the end of your assignment as a Trainer.

Earn: Same as your current rate of pay. Plus $1 premium
Start time: 1:00 PM
Location: 121 Cold Storage Road

Description
- Trains new non-exempt employees in policies and procedures selection practices productivity and quality and efficiency as outlined in the C&S Training Experience
- Trains employees on power equipment while emphasizing company safety standards
- Train new selectors to become independent.
- Responsible for the safety quality and productivity of trainees.
- Coaches new hires in efficiency and monitors weekly performance standards
- Shares observations and feedback with Training Supervisor concerning new hire progress and development
- Travel Required: No
Your work environment may include:
- Grocery (dry goods) about 50- 90
- Perishable (Refrigerated) about 28- 60
- Frozen about -20 - 0
Skills
- Specialized Knowledge :
- Special Skills : Positive attitude. Bilingual a plus. Excellent communication skills. Successful working under pressure. Proven leadership and motivational ability. Safety and Quality oriented. Detail oriented a must.
- Physical abilities: : Safely and efficiently lift up to 60 lbs of product while walking/standing
- Other: :

- 1-2 : Experience as a successful C&S incentive team selector/loader.
