Job Summary

IT Desk Support Specialist

We are partnering with a well-established international financial institution to recruit an IT Desk Support Specialist for their growing Warsaw office. The organization is known for its resilience innovation and commitment to financial integrity. Their Warsaw hub plays a strategic role in supporting global technology operations and fosters a culture of collaboration transparency and continuous improvement.

As an IT Desk Support Specialist you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to end users ensuring timely resolution of IT issues and contributing to the smooth operation of the service desk. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills a customer-focused mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing first-line support for hardware software and network issues
  • Monitoring ticket queues and ensuring SLAs are met
  • Escalating unresolved issues to appropriate IT teams
  • Maintaining documentation of procedures FAQs and troubleshooting guides
  • Supporting onboarding/offboarding processes and remote user connectivity
  • Acting as a point of contact for high-priority incidents
  • Promoting a customer-first culture and ensuring high levels of user satisfaction
  • Assisting with incident request and problem management processes
  • Collaborating with global IT teams to ensure consistent service delivery

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field
  • 35 years of experience in IT support
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow Jira Service Desk)
  • Familiarity with Windows/Mac OS Active Directory Office 365 and remote support tools
  • Excellent communication problem-solving and organizational skills
  • ITIL certification is a plus
