Maintenance Controller YZF

Essential Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all scheduled maintenance activities and coordinate recovery efforts for unscheduled or abnormal maintenance events.

• Ensure the web-based maintenance communication tool is accurate current and regularly updated for all aircraft.

• Monitor aircraft operating under an MEL providing recommendations to return them to full service as quickly as possible.

• Supervise mentor and support crew chiefs and planners in prioritizing maintenance tasks distinguishing between urgent needs and those that can be deferred based on operational demands.

• Manage maintenance subcontractors and oversee related logistics including booking travel and accommodations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in aviation maintenance.

• Previous experience as an AME or Crew Chief (or equivalent role) is required.

• Prior maintenance control experience is an asset.

• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance operations with experience at the operational or management level preferred.

• Proficiency with maintenance tracking software.

• Strong computer skills with the ability to use a variety of systems and tools effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.

Work Conditions:

• This resident position is based out of either Edmonton AB or Yellowknife NT

• Shift timings: Monday to Friday 7 am to 4 pm & 2 pm to 11 pm
