Position Information Mount Marty University a Catholic and Benedictine institution in the Liberal Arts tradition seeks applications on a continuous basis for a pool of qualified adjunct faculty to teach on our Watertown SD campus. The number of positions varies each semester depending upon the needs of the University. Hiring units will consult the adjunct pool when there is a need. Teaching assignments may include day evening blended and online campus courses. Appointments may be renewable based on need funding and performance. High need courses include Theology and Philosophy.
Salary: $745 per credit hour.
Required Qualifications Minimum Higher Learning Commission requirements for qualified faculty: either a Masters degree in the area of specialization (content) or a Masters degree outside the area of specialization with 18 graduate credit hours in the area of specialization. Those interested must also be willing to support the mission of Mount Marty University and its Catholic and Benedictine values.
