HOURS OF WORK:Monday to Thursday 5:00pm to 8:00pm
(Up to a maximum of 24 hrs per week work schedule may vary)
RATE OF PAY: As per schedule A - Unifor 2458 Part Time Collective Agreement

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
The Parking Enforcement Officer provides parking enforcement to the Campus and administrative assistance to the parking office.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
parking tickets for various infractions in all University of Windsor parking lots in accordance with University of Windsor parking rules and regulations.
customer service to patrons which includes directions information and access for patrons.
fraudulent lost/stolen permits and pay & display stubs.
Students Faculty/Staff and patrons on the functionality of cashless pay stations and pay and display machines.
daily checks and maintenance on parking equipment. Trouble shoots all pay and display machines parking garage equipment and gate arms to Faculty/Staff lots.
that Staff gate arms are functioning on a daily basis in accordance with direction from the Parking Administrator.
for the Parking Garage Pay Stations and Entry/Exit Gates including calibration cleaning troubleshooting error codes loading tickets receipts clearing jams.
Students Faculty/Staff Vendors and patrons with questions regarding the Appeal process of tickets Rules and Regulations Parking garage and Pay and Display payment methods.
the duties of the Parking Assistant in their absence. This includes processing and selling permits taking payments for violations processing Student Faculty/Staff and Vendor permits and programming gate cards answering Parking email and answering office phone calls etc.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have:
Experience as it relates to the requirements of the position
Experience with software Parking Specific software such as AIMS Cale Machines (pay & display lots) HUB Technology and HONK Mobile app (pay by phone) or an ability to learn those systems
Basic Microsoft suite knowledge (Word Excel Outlook)
Good oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Flexibility/adaptability to changing work environment and demands.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to display at all times tact and diplomacy in dealing effectively with user demands and complaints from a diverse group of individuals and groups.
Must be bondable hold a valid class G driving license and maintain it in good standing as well as having a valid drivers abstract
