About the Role
As General Manager Brand Advertising and Content you will be the strategic force behind how our brand shows up in market building emotional resonance earning national relevance and driving long-term customer loyalty. Reporting directly to the CMO youll lead a high-performing team across brand strategy advertising content creative and public relations shaping the voice identity and public presence of Sportsbet.
This is a critical leadership position at the intersection of creativity regulation and commercial impact. Youll champion bold storytelling protect brand integrity and ensure alignment across all customer-facing touchpoints from campaigns to comms.
- Own and evolve Sportsbets master brand strategy and architecture across products and platforms
- Develop brand frameworks that strengthen customer trust distinctiveness and engagement
- Lead the creative development of national ATL/BTL advertising and integrated campaigns
- Guide internal and external teams to deliver work that is breakthrough on-brand and compliant
- Champion a customer-first narrative that aligns with both commercial and cultural moments
- Partner with digital and product teams to embed storytelling across the user journey
- Set PR strategy manage media relations and protect reputation
- Drive proactive storytelling that highlights our innovation leadership and community impact
- Work closely with legal and regulatory affairs to ensure all marketing activities are responsible ethical and compliant with industry codes and standards
- Inspire and lead a team of senior managers across Brand & Advertising PR Content and Creative
- Manage keypartners ensuring performance alignment and value
About You
- Extensive experience in senior brand or marketing leadership roles
- Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale fully integrated marketing campaigns
- Expertise in content strategy advertising production and media engagement
- Track record of leading multidisciplinary teams with creativity and clarity
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to align brand with business growth
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills at exec level
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity complexity and fast-paced environments
- Strategic thinker with bold creative instincts and excellent execution discipline
