MelbournePrivateHospitalis a 122bed private hospital co-located with theRoyalMelbourneHospitalin the heart ofParkville 1.7km from Melbourne CBD. Our hospital offers highly specialised services including extensive neurosurgery neurology advanced coronary carecardiothoracic orthopaedic and general services are supported by a 10-bed intensive care unit 4-bed acute coronary care unit and 6-bed neurosurgical high dependency unit.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer/patient service by replenishing hospital areas
Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting positive team culture communicating and offering help to team members and liaising with other staff as required to create an experience that makes a difference.
Demonstrate professional practice by working according to Healthscopes policies and processes code of conduct.
Maintain standards of customer service and ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are always maintained.
Supports Healthscopes safety and quality improvement and achievement of accreditation by actively participating in department meetings audits and quality activities.
Ensure compliance with and participation in the National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards.
Essential Criteria:
Ability to work within constraints of a set financial budget
Proven experience in a similar role preferably within a healthcare setting
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Proven time management and problem-solving ability
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
Medical product knowledge (desired)
