We are currently seeking an experienced Orthotic Technician to join our Christchurch Team. This is a full time permanent position.

The Role:
As an Orthotic Technician youll play a key part in helping people live more independent and active lives. Working closely with Orthotists Prosthetists and other members of our multidisciplinary team youll:
Collaborate with clinicians to turn prescriptions into functional high-quality orthotic devices that meet individual patient needs
Work as part of a supportive skilled technical team that shares knowledge ideas and problem-solving approaches
Contribute to innovation by exploring new materials techniques and technologies in orthotic fabrication
Maintain a safe well-organised and efficient workshop environment
Take pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail ensuring each device is comfortable durable and effective

What you will bring
Practical experience or strong interest in technical fabrication ideally within orthotics prosthetics or a similar hands-on trade
Attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work that supports great outcomes for patients
Ability to read and interpret technical instructions or prescriptions accurately
Good problem-solving skills and adaptability when working with different tools materials and techniques
A collaborative approach and willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to ongoing learning quality improvement and professional development
