Location: Elmhurst NY
Type: Contract
Schedule: MondayFriday 10:00 AM 6:00 PM 35 hours per week Alternating weekends & holidays
Pay(Local): Up to $2437.50/week

Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Ultrasound Technologistfor an exciting job in Elmhurst NY.

Responsibilities

Perform general and specialized ultrasound examinations including abdominal OB/GYN and vascular studies.
Ensure patient comfort explain procedures and maintain a safe and professional environment.
Capture review and evaluate diagnostic images for clarity and accuracy.
Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment following all sterilization and safety guidelines.
Assist physicians during image-guided procedures such as biopsies.
Accurately document patient data exam findings and reports in electronic records.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a General Ultrasound Technologist (acute care preferred).
ARDMS certification (RDMS) required.
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program (military training accepted).
BLS certification required.
