Job Summary
Travel RN Nurse Educator (L&D)
Location: Brooklyn NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Pay(Travel) : Up to $3214/week
Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel RN Nurse Educatorfor an exciting job in Brooklyn NY.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver nursing education programs and competency training for Med/Surg and L&D teams.
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor supporting nurses in the application of best practices and clinical standards.
Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify learning needs and design targeted training interventions.
Facilitate onboarding orientation and continuing education programs for nursing staff.
Maintain detailed documentation of educational sessions staff progress and competency outcomes.
Provide strong clinical support leveraging at least 2 years of direct Med/Surg nursing experience.
Qualifications
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) required; BSN preferred.
Licensure: Active and unrestricted New York State RN license with Primary Source Verification from NYSED.
Certifications: Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience; prior educator or preceptor experience highly preferred.
Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
