Job SummaryWe are seeking aSoftware Engineering Managerand an Associate Software Engineering Manager. to lead a mission-focused team building solutions that improve the lives of Henry Schein One users and their patients. Youll set the tone by shaping technical strategy mentoring engineers and delivering high-availability dental imaging recruit and retain top talent creating a high-performing engineering team and guiding engineers as they take ownership of their missions and delivery commitments.

What You Will Do- Lead and grow a mission-focused team of5 engineers and test engineers to deliver market-leading solutions on our dental imaging platform
- Recruit retain and develop engineers by inspiring motivating and coaching team membersto build a culture of high performance trust and continuous growth
- Oversee the team and support them in achieving their missions and delivery commitments
- Enable your team by removing workflow roadblocks and improving processes
- Ensure products are secure compliant and reliable for Henry Schein One customers
- Collaborate with senior leaders on vision and strategy aligning your teams work with company goals
- Partner closely with Product leadership to influence and deliver on strategic commitments
- Buildcross-functional relationships to drive the best possible user experiences
- Mature engineering practices and processes to support global growth opportunities
- Positively and collaboratively influence decision-making across teams departments and stakeholders
Travel/Physical Demands- Travel typically less than 10%
- Office environment with no special physical demands required

Qualifications
What You Will Have- 5 -7 years of progressive software development experience
- 1 or moreyears leading high-performing teams in remote/hybrid environments
- Proven technical expertise with modern development practices; able to contribute code and architecture guidance
- Experience balancingleadership and delivery thriving in a player-coach role
- People Leadership: Mentoring coaching and enabling career development
- Excellent collaboration and communication skillswith the ability to influence across disciplines and senior leadership
- Outcome-oriented mindsetskilled at balancing technical debt bugs innovation and new features in alignment with business goals
- Adaptability and agilitychampioning continuous improvement in both process and product
Nice to Haves- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
- Specialized experience in device driver development including low-level programming and hardware/software integration
The posted range for this position is$120000 - $165000which is the expected starting salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience current skills location/labor market internal equity etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.
