Job Summary
Wage range is $15-25/ hr with your hourly wage and tips earned
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Zimmerman United States. As a Delivery Driver you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers.
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated locations
- Load and unload packages with care ensuring proper handling of all items
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries mileage and fuel consumption
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Provide excellent customer service addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications :
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong navigation abilities and familiarity with GPS systems
- Physical fitness to lift and carry packages of varying weights
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous delivery or professional driving experience preferred
- Proficiency in using delivery management software is a plus
- Knowledge of local area and traffic patterns is beneficial
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule to accommodate varying delivery demands
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) may be preferred for larger vehicles
