The Research Assistant in the INSECTS Lab will support the goals of this interdisciplinary research by assisting with hands-on insect maintenance troubleshooting experimental design and supporting recruitment efforts. The INSECTS Lab is seeking a motivated and organized Research Assistant to assist with a unique research project an initiative that aims to engage both education and science majors in a semester long experiential learning project in which collaborative groups conduct novel behavioral research using insects as the study system. This position involves hands-on work with various insect species including ants crickets and cockroaches. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented proactive in troubleshooting and eager to contribute to innovative scientific research. Work will be conducted in person on campus in the Education and Life Sciences buildings.
