Job Summary

Contracts Manager (Repairs Voids and Ground Maintenance

Location: Endurance House Histon Cambridge CB24 9ZR (Hybrid Working minimum one day per week working from home)

Salary:

Permanent/Full Time 35 hours per week Monday to Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CHS as a Contracts Manager (Repairs Voids and Ground Maintenance within our Property Services Team.

What youll do

To lead plan and manage all repair and maintenance activities across the housing stock ensuring that homes are safe well-maintained and compliant with relevant standards and regulations. The postholder will oversee both reactive and planned maintenance programs manage contractor performance and deliver a high-quality customer-focused service to residents.

About you

Knowledge/understanding of managing partnering contracts i.e. TPC/TAC/JCT terms & conditions together with ensuring close financial control of payments inc. profit & overheads.

Knowledge and understanding of procurement processes inc. OJEU procedures and s20 requirements for leaseholders.

Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation relevant to repairs and maintenance services

Ability to monitor own performance and deliver against agreed objectives financial targets and within budget constraints.

Ability to manage external contractors and provide effective direction and coaching.

Demonstrable experience of successfully leading and managing a team who deliver against objectives.


Knowledge of Windows-based IT packages or similar database software.
